AlphaSense Signals Podcast: Demystifying ESG
Daniella was pleased to join Nick Mazing and discuss all things ESG for the latest episode of the Signals podcast by AlphaSense. They went through the alphabet soup of sustainability and ESG acronyms, as well as a deeper dive into TCFD, and some of the other frameworks being developed across the rest of the world.
Finally, they also spoke about CSRD, ISSB and the PRI. Some key takeaways from the episode:
Regulations like CSRD are likely to indirectly impact companies that are not directly in scope.
These companies will start seeing similar requests for information creating a “ripple effect” from such regulations.
Understanding this effect is crucial for all companies, not just those directly affected.
TCFD is the key framework for disclosing climate-related risks and opportunities.
